Wow, my Shoobs is going to go to Kindergarten in a few months. We signed him up today and he was so nervous. He made sure I wasn't going to leave. The occupational therapist sat with him as well due to his fine motor skills....When we left, he said, 'I was nervous when we came but now I'm not!'
He wouldn't participate in a birthday party this past weekend. He's also been crying intermittently going to school and to Jenny's. I always thought he'd be fine going to Kindergarten but now I think it's going to be difficult for him. Shane's doing t-ball but reluctantly. He fights going but does his thing and leaves. There's no passion for it like Brennan has.
Shaney also had his first real playdate alone at a friend from school's house. He was nervous but did it and loved it!
Owen's very different from his brothers. He is constantly changing his clothes. He was obsessed with shorts a few weeks ago, now he wants to match. So the shirt and pants HAVE to be the same color. Even his pajamas!! Drives us insane. His accidents are getting better. He still gets speech therapy but is coming a long way. The therapist says the same thing as well as Miss Jenny.
Sometimes, Shaney acts like he's stuck in the couch (don't ask). Shane will be pretending saying 'help! help! i can't breathe!'. Well. Owen gets soo upset thinking he really can't breathe and runs over to get me. When I say, Owen, he's kidding, he starts crying saying he needs help!! He loves his brothers and will come up to Ryan and me and say I love you, I missed you. What a love. I can't call Brennan or Shane love without Owen correcting me, saying 'no, I you love.'
Brennan's doing great in school. We have a slight bully issue but I can't gage how bad it really is. This kid once made Brennan feel stupid for having to use his number chart to figure out 3-3=0. He loves baseball and it's machine pitch. He can actually hit the ball! Brennan can be such a great kid at times, then he can turn like a switch. Every day can easily be a struggle if he doesn't hear what he wants to hear. Homework is a fight, cleaning up is a fight, brushing his teeth, putting on shoes, getting dressed, etc, etc.
