Brennan is 4!

On Saturday (Brennan's bday), we went to the zoo with Brennan and Shane. My parents watched Owen. We got a family membership so we can go whenever!
On Sunday, we had a small party for him. He had a great weekend!

I had the conference today. It was a good thing because he's been starting to cry when he goes, says he's afraid of the farmer (who never came to drop off chicks) and he doesn't like it when Mrs McClain sings (music teacher). Mrs Vincent said she's noticed and is wondering if there's anything different at home. There isn't other than Owen's helmet (which he never talks about). He's been a real bear to be around recently. Maureen told me that Ryan used to get like that around growth spurts so I'm hoping this is just a phase. When I leave school he's fine. I assure him and the teachers assure him the farmer isn't coming. He doesn't participate in music which is fine. Mrs Vincent isn't concerned and everything else is great with him. He shares, plays with everyone, listens, etc. He's just difficult at home I think.

Shane sang "Happy Birthday" on Thursday to Ryan. It was sooo cute. He kept doing it on his own. I videoed one of them, it didn't turn out too well. My parents are having Ryan's birthday dinner tonight so I really hope he sings again. It is the cutest thing. He does everything Brennan does. He's still unsure of what to do with Owen.

Owen's second tooth came in yesterday. He was cranky too. I'm not so good at keeping his helmet on. Ryan's so much better. I just hate it. I see so much improvement with it. He hates PT. The therapist is great. She has a daughter who's only a few days younger than Owen. She says his head shape won't go back to what it was if I don't keep the helmet on 23 hrs/day. I do want to do better with it and when he's not wearing it I feel guilty.

Owen still gets up every night. He was sleeping through the night for a little but not anymore. He's started to roll on his tummy in the crib so I was thinking that may help him sleep better but no!

Brennan had a fever that began Friday afternoon. He was acting funny on Friday morning then after school he didn't want to play outside. He wanted to lay on the couch. Then he took a nap after I told him to and went right to sleep - so unlike him. He woke up and then laid there until falling back to sleep. He woke up on fire. No other sxs. Then Ryan woke up Saturday morning and says he felt like he had a fever. They were both at the pool on Thursday night so maybe they caught something there. Then yesterday, I came home from work in the worst mood and could not keep my eyes open. We were supposed to go to Beth T's for pizza but I cancelled. Brennan's still not himself but no fever. He is so grumpy!!!
