Updates

I have my big ultrasound tomorrow night! But we aren't finding out the sex. This will be the first time Ryan will see the baby. It's soooo tempting to find out but I don't want to, in the end.

Some funny moments I wanted to jot down before I forget.

Last week, Shane was being rough with Sadie so she bit him! He didn't cry but seemed surprised. He came over to me sheepishly and looked at her weird. It was funny. She didn't leave a mark and he didn't cry, he was fine. She's so mean!

When we went to the Sabos 2 weeks ago, Brennan and Emma were headed upstairs when Marc went to ask what they were doing - Brennan said, "We're just going to talk" and Emma said, "I'm going to take my clothes off." So funny - Emma said that because she was going to get ready for bed. Hilarious.

On Ash Wednesday, we went to church to get ashes. Duckie went with us too, of course. After Brennan got ashes, the deacon (?) gave ashes to Duckie too.

My parents got another Harry dog this past weekend. She's really good especially around the boys. Brennan calls her Harry (her name is Sophie) or Dog. So funny.

I have to get Shane dancing on video. It is the cutest thing.

Brennan turns 3 on Thursday. I still remember giving birth to him. The best day of my life next to January 11th.

Felt the baby move!

I finally just felt the baby move on Monday. I thought I felt him/her move before but this was definite. Then Shane went with me to the doctor's office to hear the heartbeat for the first time yesterday! The doctor found it right away. We go for the ultrasound on the 16th. Can't wait to see the baby again.

Brennan will be 3 this month! I cannot believe it. I still remember seeing him for the first time. No party this year, we are going to take him to the aquarium on the 19th and have family over for cake on the 20th.

Shane is walking steadily now. He is so precious. That little face is so cute. He's such a good boy and a good sleeper too (knock on wood!).

I bravely took both boys alone to Hair Cuttery today. They were so good and the hair dresser was good with them so it worked out well.

We went to the Derstine's this past Saturday for dinner. So good to see them again; Brennan had a great time. He didn't want to leave and asked that we come back the next day. It was a nice time as always.
