Last week, I decided it was time for Shane to potty train. He did and is doing great!! He pooped on the potty yesterday and today! If he's naked he'll go on the potty on his own, without getting me. If he has pants on, forget it. Accidents all over. We went to get ice cream as another treat for doing so well and as we were there, he had an accident.
This past Sunday was Shane's first night in his big boy bed. His crib converts into a twin bed. He did great! The only problem was that he got up at 2:30am thinking it was morning. We told him it wasn't and he went right back to bed. Since then, no issues. I don't think Brennan had any issues with this transition either.
The past 2 days, Owen hasn't been taking a nap. He's up in his crib talking away or whining.
I took Brennan to Robin Hood play for his field trip today. Shane and Owen were babysat by OEPC. Owen was very upset when I left but I was told he did fine. Shane was so happy to go but was very happy to see me when we got back.

Massachusetts Trip/Owen 18 mos/Shane Potty
Owen had his 18 month well check: 22 lb 3 oz (21st percentile), 2'8" (51st percentile height). She's happy with his weight even though it's tapering. Doesn't need a speech eval yet and ears are looking better!
Shane went to the potty for the first time all by himself on 2/20/13! Waiting for it to happen again, he's had 2 accidents this morning already....
We went for a long weekend to Massachusetts to visit the cousins!
Had a great time.
Owen has another ear infection but was able to enjoy the Cape!

Ash Wednesday, Valentines
Sickness has got to leave our house asap!!!
Brennan has the stomach bug again (2nd time this year), Owen's getting over a fever and now has a cough. Shane's nose is running. Ugh
Yesterday was Ash Wednesday. We got ashes after picking Brennan up from school.
Today is Valentines day. Brennan had a party at school and I have to work tonight so not too much fun here (except for heart cookies)!
We leave for Massachusetts on Saturday! Yay!

Happy February!
Lots of goings on here!
Shane qualified for speech therapy twice a week for 8 weeks through Theraplay. 1 hour each session.
Went to Audiology Feb 7 - his hearing is normal!
Shane fell hard on his wrist this past Wednesday evening. He cried a cry that I knew he was hurt and then his right wrist swelled up. He had trouble sleeping so Ryan took him to the urgent care clinic that night. No fracture but it was still hurting him the next day.
Alexa, Beth and Russ came last weekend for the day. It was short but great to see them! We'll have to visit NYC soon!
Brennan, Ryan and Pop all got sick with the stomach bug last week. Owen had it last week too; only vomited once and was fine. Poor Brennan was the worst. He started on at around 7pm and didn't stop til 10ish. Was wiped the next day but never any diarrhea. Ryan started with it 3 days later (only diarrhea) then Pop started the following day! Shane had it a few weeks ago and only vomited twice.
Last night, Brennan told me that when he grows up he wants to be a dada. He then goes on to say that if he has to work, and Ryan and I have to work, that Mimi will watch his kids :)
