Summer Fun!

A week ago, we went to Ocean City for a long weekend. Owen slept a ton and only went to the beach once and I had a cold but it was nice. Owen LOVED the water and was in it for the longest time. He also loved the rides. Brennan was nervous ninny about the rides so he ended up playing a game, winning a snake, then going on the ferris wheel with Ryan, Kelly and Shane. Shane went on most rides too. The boys were crazy as always!

We have swimming lessons every morning and Brennan's doing great! Shane doesn't participate much and will mostly just sit with me and Owen and not go in at all

 

Funny Quotes

During the summer, we go out for ice cream once a week. This new place we can walk to is right next to a Chinese restaurant. We can hear them speak Chinese as we eat our ice cream. So out of the blue, Brennan says, 'Why are they speaking nonsense?' Then, tonight at dinner, he says, 'I know how to say hi in nonsense. Bonjour.'

This morning, Shane was eating his cereal with milk (a new discovery) and he imitates Mimi using his 'girl' voice and says, 'There's my boy!' which for anyone that's around my mom with my boys, she says this all the time. Her other famous line is when she calls Shane 'pumpkin.' Shane always asks why Mimi calls him pumpkin.

Now, in addition to lovey and blankie and beeshie, Owen always carries at least one, mostly 2 cars with him at all times.

4th of July, 2013

We went to the Oreland parade this morning and this afternoon, we'll go to Aunt Trish's.
It wasn't as loud as before so the earmuffs didn't even need to come :) Owen had a blast!
