The shore!

We went this past weekend to the shore with the Andersons. The boys loved the beach on Sunday and seemed very tired yesterday. I don't think they fare well outside of what they know. It was really chaotic at times but it was fun and good to get away!

Owen started with fever last Monday.  I took him to be seen because on Wednesday he was at 104.5. He was diagnosed with Hand foot and mouth, teething and fluid in his right ear. So on Thursday at 8pm, I took his temp and he was 105.3. I called and Dr Limmer sent us to the ER. Mom met me there and Ryan stayed home with the boys.

He was acting fine so they gave him tylenol and sent us home.

He woke up without a fever on Friday!!!

This past weekend, Ryan ran a race in Philly overnight so we stayed at Mimi and Pop's. I worked Sunday morning so my parents were a big help.

We leave for the shore on Saturday! We are excited as the kids love the beach.

When we get back, it's time to get ready for Owen's first birthday!

Brennan fell off the swing onto his head last Thursday. He was hysterical, fell asleep then woke up vomiting. Long story short, he's fine!

Beth came over with baby Alexa on Saturday! She is such a doll. We went swimming at Lewis' and on Sunday, we went to Sesame Place. Shane went on a ride with Ryan; Brennan sat with me. Owen came and was so good as his brothers were playing.

Owen woke up yesterday and was fine until mid-morning when he was dazed and felt warm. So here we are with a sick baby. I went into work late yesterday and will again today. He's pretty miserable but every so often perks up. It's hard to have a baby who's sick and 2 others to take care of.

Owen's helmet days are over! As of this past Friday. So excited and so happy I did it.

Shane's really talking more. I think I'm finally seeing real progress! The therapist thinks Brennan answers for him all the time and it will be good for Shane when Brennan goes to school! He likes to list people that he knows. He has the cutest little voice when he decides to use it!

Owen 11 months

I just cannot believe Owen will be a year in a month!!! That was so fast. I felt like Brennan's first year was looonnngg but Shane and Owen's were short. I feel as though I just had him.

Owen is going to have PT now once a month until he walks. He's transitioning out of morning naps. Today I'll let him stay up through the morning and see how it goes. He doesn't like the jar foods anymore - loves table food. When a stranger says 'hi' to him he lowers his head and cuddles into me.

Shane's new obsession is Peter Pan. He watches it almost every day. The other day he said 'raccoon' - it was hilarious. He imitates everything Brennan does still.

The summer is going well, not much planned at all. I would like to do more but Owen's at a hard age. I think next summer we'll be able to do more.
