So Shane had his 3 year well check today with Dr Limmer. He didn't cooperate for the vision test and it dawned on me that he probably doesn't know his shapes!!! I have never worked on them with him!
He's 30lb 10 oz, 3'3.1". 37% for weight and 79th for height!!
The kicker is that Dr Limmer couldn't understand him today so back to speech we go! Have a call into Theraplay so we'll see......

Sickness and more sickness
We have never been so sick before!!
This past Monday, Owen vomited then had a fever for 2 days then bad cold.
Brennan came home from school on Wednesday telling me he didn't feel good then started with a fever.
I started with chills and very achey on Wednesday followed by the flu. Feeling better by Sunday.
Brennan's fever went away then came back and was diagnosed with strep today.
Owen has a double ear infection!!!!!!

Shane's 3!
Shane is 3! On his actual birthday, Ryan and I took off work and took him to Toys R Us. He got a mower and weed wacker. Mimi came over and gave him even more gifts. The rest of day was spent at home getting ready for his 2 parties the following day!
His kid party was at Pump It Up and it was so much fun!! Then we had his family party at Moira and Colleen's. He had a great birthday.

Owen's first ear infection, Brennan moments
My mom called me at work to tell me Owen felt warm today and was really fussy. So I reluctantly made him an appt and it turned out he has an ear infection!!
All 3 kids plus Ryan have a really bad cold. I'm fighting one off. Yesterday morning, Shane woke up screaming crying; when Ryan went in, Shane had thrown up. A few minutes later he did the same thing. After that, he was perfectly fine. Today he's super pale but acting fine. Not eating as much. Our first stomach bug. Thankfully no one else seemed to have caught it....
My dad told me Brennan told him he would mow his lawn and clean the bathrooms when my dad can't walk anymore. No idea where he gets this. After New years, a new girl, Liza is in Brennan's class. She was just adopted from Russia. I told him to make sure he talks to her, includes her, plays with her, etc. Mrs Salazar told me he told everyone to be nice to her because he used to cry at school. I couldn't believe that he told his friends this. Couldn't be prouder at that moment :)

Happy 2013!
Happy New Year!!!
New Years Eve consisted of going to the Sabos for some partying with them and the Valentinos. Brennan did not want to celebrate in the end so these pics are only of Shane and Owen.
First snow of the season! December 29, 2012
The goings-on here.
Shane doesn't nap anymore. Rarely. I put him in his crib regardless and he plays with his trucks and I let him out after an hour or so. He now sleeps with his light on, door open and with a truck or two. He's done with beeshes! He chewed one down and hasn't asked for a new one. He sleeps with the broken beeshie in his hand. Won't argue with that as we all know how long Brennan had his! He's talking better, I think. He did not qualify for anymore speech thru the county so I hope he won't need anymore. I will be signing him up for preschool later on this month!!!
Brennan is very, very sensitive. We have to watch what we say. He takes things seriously even if we are joking around. A few weeks ago, Pop reminded Brennan of the time he 'choked' and Pop called 911. After telling him of this, Brennan wouldn't eat for fear of choking. We got over that until he asked for a whole bowl of caramels. I told him no, that would ruin your teeth. He asked if they would get weak. I said yes. So he cried, brushed his teeth and was afraid to eat again. He won't go to other kids homes because he says he's shy of their mommys and daddys. Ugh. Fearful child!
Owen says 'more' consistently now. He doesn't just sign it. Lots of stranger anxiety. Throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way. Takes 1 nap from 1-3:30ish. Follows Brennan and Shane everywhere. Very blond still!
