My Baby's Growing Up!

Today was a biggie in my book. Owen peed on the potty for the very first time! And it's Mimi's birthday!

We were at the Noga's and I took his diaper off because it was full. I didn't have one to put back on him and I want him to feel if he gets wet. So a little bit later he started holding himself and said he had to go the potty! I sat him down and about 1 minute later he went!!! I just put big boy underwear on him and I'm making it a big deal. It's so exciting for some reason!

Easter 2014

I haven't blogged in awhile!! What's new???

Well, after Brennan's been getting up in the 5 o'clock hour and waking Shane up who then wakes up Ryan and me and Owen, we moved Brennan back to his old room and now we sleep til 7. So on Easter morning, they were up so early after being in NYC on Saturday, it was miserable. We didn't make it to church because they were so tired and cranky. Mimi and Pop came over for brunch and came back to get Brennan and Owen as Owen sleeps great for my parents. Then we went to Anderson's for dinner.

Shane now gets OT once a week for at least 8 weeks. He's a lefty which we didn't know.

We went to NYC on Saturday and had a blast! We went to Central Park, got a cupcake out of the ATM, ate pizza and went to Neely's restaurant. 

Brennan's doing great in T-ball!!! He hits and runs really well. Only cried once on his first game day; but quickly recovered. 

Therapy Continues....

So.....I had teacher meetings last week. Brennan's doing great! He doesn't have to go to reading support anymore :) He now needs to work on math. 

Shane's doing great academically and he's a good listener. But - as Mrs. McClain mentioned in October, he lacks fine motor skills. We just got back from his OT evaluation at CHOP. She found 1. he's a lefty, 2. he has low tone in his hands, 3. he needs therapy.

So we will be going to CHOP once a week for at least 8 weeks. He's going to have a lot to work on at home. But I think he likes the one on one time. Shane's my therapy kid!

Owen loves to go to Miss Jenny's now because he loves the babies! She has 3 babies there that he adores. Yesterday when I picked them up, he was crying because her hamster bit him! I feel so much better dropping him off now that he's happy.

Shane hasn't been loving school again. He cried when I dropped him off yesterday and was teary this morning because he thought he was going again. I'm not sure whats causing this anxiety.
